My name is Sarah Parker, and I am an art therapist. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), which means I follow UK data protection law.

I process your information because it is necessary to provide therapy, I have a professional duty of care, and some information is processed for therapeutic purposes.

Confidentiality
What you share is confidential.
There are some limits to confidentiality. I may share information if:

Professional supervision
I discuss my work with a qualified supervisor. Your identity is not shared.
This helps ensure safe and ethical practice.
How I keep your information safe
I use digital records that are encrypted and password protected.
Devices are secured.
Only I have direct access to identifiable information.
Online work and third-party platforms
As my sessions are online, I use Padlet to support the sharing and reflection of artwork.
Padlet has its own privacy policies and may store data outside the UK.
If you have any concerns about using Padlet, please discuss this with me before starting.
Online Emergency information
I collect some information for use in emergency situations only.
This includes:

This information would only be used if needed to respond to a serious situation, for example if emergency services need to be contacted during a session.
How long I keep your information
I keep records for 7 years after our work ends, in line with professional guidance. After this time, they are securely deleted.
