Creating New Pathways

A gentle, individual creative approach to getting unstuck and finding a way forwards.
The Creating New Pathways six-week programme offers a space to explore an area of difficulty. It is for those moments in life when you may feel unsure of yourself, or quietly stuck. Perhaps something that once felt easy now feels unexpectedly hard. Life may have shifted, and you’re finding your way within it, yet each time you try to make an important decision, your thinking feels clouded or just out of reach.
You may be used to holding things together for others, and not always having the space to properly hear yourself. At times like this, it can feel difficult to know what you need, or which direction feels right.

Often, we can find ourselves caught in cycles of thought, trying to think our way out of what feels difficult. In these sessions, we move beyond that loop. Through art-making and visualisation, you’ll be invited to gently uncover both the obstacles in your path and the strengths you already hold to meet them.

This is not about forcing answers or making quick decisions. It is about creating enough space to see more clearly what is already there.

How the sessions work
In the first two sessions, we’ll spend time with the present difficulty and the obstacles you’re encountering.
Sessions three and four will turn towards how you would like things to be. In the final two sessions, we’ll explore how you might begin to move forwards, in a way that feels more settled and aligned for you.
These individual sessions focus on a specific, present-day difficulty and do not delve deeply into your past. They are for those seeking to restore a sense of balance, perhaps while navigating a transition.
They can be particularly supportive if you are at a point where something in your life no longer feels quite right, but you are not sure what needs to change or how to move forwards.
They are not suited for those in crisis, or for anyone looking to process trauma. If you are in need of support with overwhelming experiences from the past, please explore my recommended therapists here.
